I can’t disagree with the customers’ choice. These are our number one best-selling chicken pies for very good reason: Chicken Ham and Leek Pie, Chicken and Mushroom Pie, Chip Shop Chicken Curry Pie, freshly handmade to order with locally-sourced, hand cut, chunks of free-range British meat and all encased in our golden buttery shortcrust pastry.
Why not add some sides such as Mud's Beer Battered Chips and Buttery Mashed Potato, both are portions for two people.

These work just as well for one person as six separate meals or for a couple as three separate meals or for a family of four and perhaps a couple of guests. And don’t forget, all our pies freeze beautifully and cook perfectly from frozen too. To coin a phrase: ‘dinner, sorted’.

The chicken pies are not a patch on the steak pies. Pastry was superb, but the fillings let them down. The best ones were the Chip Shop Curry pies, which would have got a five star on their own. It was the Chicken, Ham & Leek that was the real let down. Meat pieces were so small, and far too much sauce. Chicken & mushroom, were better, but again, too much sauce and the pieces of chicken and mushroom were very small. I’d be interested in your thoughts? Thanks
Thank you Niki, I'm gutted to see you didn't enjoy our Chicken Ham and Leek offering as much as the others, especially the Chip Shop Chicken Curry. The recipes have been popular with some and not with others, but as you can understand this is down to individual preferences - the recipe we have, we believe strikes a balance. Hopefully this makes sense - and once again, I'm sorry to hear this.

I bought these pies,not expecting much, as I had been so disappointed in other so called ready meals. How wrong was I. . . they are fabulous!!
Little works of art. The crisp,buttery pastry encased in a packed filling of lusciousness that just melts in your mouth. I had the Chicken and Mushroom and my son had the Chip Shop Curry. Both so delicious. I have four left but will order shortly as these will always be in my freezer now. Just so happy to have found you!!
