Love Lamb Week 2025 – Celebrating British Lamb, Flavour, and Sustainability

Love Lamb Week 2025 – Celebrating British Lamb, Flavour, and Sustainability

Ever wondered why Love Lamb Week 2025 has become such a staple in our food calendars?

It’s been happening in the first week of September for 10 years, and the reason is simple: it’s about recognising the dedication of British farmers, celebrating the care that goes into ethically-raised lamb, and supporting a tradition of sustainable farming.

Love Lamb Week isn’t just about enjoying a tasty lamb pie (though that’s a big part of it) - it’s a moment to honour the people, the land, and the practices that make every bite of British lamb truly exceptional. It’s about understanding the story behind the meat on our plates, the journey from pasture to pie, and the commitment to all that gives lamb its unmatched flavour.

This week-long celebration is a reminder that great food starts with great farming, and that supporting ethical, local producers is not only the right thing to do - it’s also the key to unforgettable taste.

British Lamb: From Farm to Fork

We’re proud to showcase lamb in all its glory – from our unique champion Lamb, Redcurrant and Rosemary Pie to our limited edition Lamb and Mint Pie. Every bite tells a story of local farmers, careful rearing, and a dedication to flavour that’s impossible to fake.

Sustainably-raised lamb means happy farms, thriving fields, and a healthier planet – which makes the meat taste even better. Better farming, better flavour.

Our Star Pies: Tradition meets Innovation

This Love Lamb Week, we’ve got two pies taking centre stage:

  • Lamb, Redcurrant and Rosemary Pie – a harmonious mix of tender British lamb, fragrant rosemary, and juicy redcurrants.  Crowned Champion at the British Pie Awards for good reason.
  • Lamb and Mint Pie – our twist on a classic pairing. Think succulent lamb paired with a refreshing hint of mint, all wrapped in flaky, buttery pastry. Perfect for those who love a little adventure on their plate.

Both pies are crafted with top quality ingredients and a commitment to supporting ethical farming practices, making every bite a celebration of British lamb.

Sustainable Farming: How it Shapes Every Bite

Every pie we make starts with a commitment to the land and the people who care for it. By sourcing our ingredients responsibly, we support farmers who prioritise ethical, environmentally-conscious practices.

When you enjoy one of our pies during Love Lamb Week, you’re not just tasting something incredible – you’re joining a movement. A movement that celebrates:

  • Ethical farming practices
  • Delicious, locally-sourced ingredients
  • A connection to the land that grows and raises our food

Love Lamb Week 2025: Celebrate, Savour, and Support British Lamb
